Tanker 160 is heading in to drop, all other Tankers returned to their bases for the night.
Chp starting evacuations. Fire starting to make moves per chp cad.
All tankers assigned yesterday are heading back to the fire.
That must be why the S-2s are flying right over my house this morning in Clovis into FAT base to reload. Normally it’s just a Crane and an RJ85 there.
Tanker 160, that RJ85, was dispatched over an hour ago.
ANF just dispatched immediate need ST to the Iris …not sure if this is smoke or clouds on the QueenBee cam …
40 ac./20% containment. InciWeb 1+ hour ago
Haven’t seen 160 but the 2 S-2s were just inbound to FAT about 2 min. ago
T160 enroute back to fire, load and return. Air Tactics 169.200.
They zoomed the camera in again and you can see the column now.
Red flag for mammoth area issued
maybe more than last posted 40 ac ???
Looks like BDF sent a strike team and Tanker 131 assigned from San Bernardino.
Add a C130 to the tanker mix.
ANF 1606 is enroute
It looks like CA Team 13 is going to be assigned.
