Per CHP CAD, Highway 96 is being closed near Hamburg and Scott River Road is being closed near Scott Bar.

Air Attack overhead reporting 300-400 acres burning on both sides of the Klamath & Scott Rivers, with very active and very aggressive fire behavior. Large T-Storm cells near the fire.

The east side of Scott River has no fire history until you hit the McKinney Fire scar. There’s a lot of room to run there.

The West side of the Scott River all burned in 2014 Fryingpan Fire, and north of 96 in 2016 Gap and 2022 McKinney.
