It’s looking fairly good, the big run was filling in the gap.

That’s what it looked like, good for them. We’ll see on tomorrows mornings IR.

Quite a run. We’re getting a little drift smoke in Sonora.

Look at this mornings IAP for the Coffee Pot. We have a FDNY IMT assigned with us. There was a great tribute during this mornings briefing. I’m sure all fires did something special today. Never Forget.

Also in IAP. Each year The Fire Commissioner issues a message to be read at every FDNY firehouse. The FDNY IMT at our fire read it at morning briefing as this was their firehouse.

For those wondering what the 363 number on the right side of the Fire Commissioner’s message that was in the Coffee Pot IAP, it is the number of FDNY members who have lost their life SINCE 9/11 due to illness from their 9/11 response. The toll from 9/11 continues to rise and this is the first year it has past the original event. It incudes their IMT deputy IC who passed this year. I will post his Bio they also included in the IAP. RIP

The fire is now 14,075 acres & 71% contained per the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC).

After this coming weeks weather and a chance of light rain/snow they should be able to finally button this thing up.

AA15 was up over the fire today and copter 522 was shuttling equipment or crews. Copter was using McKenzie heliport.
Their back on SQF Ch.4 for command.
