Sounds like homes around Palisades Charter High School along with building on the campus are being impacted by the fire.

fire is moving west along PCH, units doing point protection. it is also impacting structures along temescal canyon between sunset and PCH with multiple building in the highschool on fire, div asking for eta on resources. fire also looks to be moving east in the hills above. IC asking all div to free up resources for structure protection on the flanks along PCH

With the head of this thing pretty much at the ocean, the focus will be on the flanks and life safety and structure threat on those areas

I was at the westridge trail head east of the fire and it looks like it jumped into rivas canyon, despite multiple retardant drops there. what’s curious is that this is against the general wind direction.

Heard Fire jumped Tuna Canyon and said “may need to expand box to the 405”.

That is what I heard. Also, OPS was just advised to notify DWP as the hydrants in the fire area are starting have low pressure or no water at all
