New fire starting near Frazier Park/Gorman area along the I-5 Freeway. Fairly black column so possible vehicle fire into the brush.

Looks like LAC is showing it in Gorman and requested aircraft. Known as the Post fire.

Half acre of brush, along with multiple vehicles involved, the fire is spotting ahead of itself. This incident is now a Second Alarm
AA requesting two Lats
LAC Third Alarm, Incident command has requested evacuation of residents west of the McDonalds that is located in the 49000 block of Gorman School Road. The fire is spotting over a quarter mile ahead of itself. Requesting a third alarm.
IC requesting that notifications be made to Ventura County, Advising fire is moving that way rapidly.
AA requesting two additional Lats, and either an ASM or lead.
Total of six tankers.
IC: 500 acres, evacs of Gorman area, potential to grow additional 500 within the hour.
Post AA: requesting one VLAT.
Will be T910 from SBD.
VNC has launched a first alarm since it’s in the threat zone. ANF has launched a response as well and will soon be in Unified command.
From NWS LA… an automated weather station at SCE Salt Lick Trail near the #PostFire was reporting N winds of 15 gusting 28 mph, with temperature of 75 degrees, and RH of 23%. NW winds expected to increase across the region this afternoon/evening.
LAC advised 2 type 1 tankers being diverted. Asked AA if he would take 2 type 3s.
Will be T72, T73 from Hemet.
