IC Requesting County start shifting Strike Teams around. Advised if their wasnt a 2nd fire, he’d want a 3rd alarm. Holding with what he has for now.

Tankers 70, 73, 74, 75, 76, 78 are all assigned and about to be over the fire around the same time.
500-600 acres with spotting.
Fire slowed momentarily but has realigned with the wind and terrain. Medium to long range spotting. Requesting Air Tankers assigned to the Dulce Fire will be diverted per Air Attack. No structures threatened.

Trying to keep it in this box…The objective now is to keep the fire west of the 5, east of Gold Hill Road, south of the OHV park north entrance, and north of Smokey Bear Road.

From the helicopter footage, head of the fire appears to be at the Quail Canyon Motocross area.
Sounds about right. They just sent ST1151C and Dozers to that area.
Still flying 7 tankers on the incident. The cameras show the fire has moderated some. But still showing activity on the south end of the incident.
Cameras showing this thing to be looking pretty good. I’d say hope for some recovery overnight before it heats up again and should be buttoned up. Couple tankers look to be dropping and heading to their home
