Yes. If that is what it takes to handle operational, logistical, and planning needs for the Firefighters on the ground. We have increasingly problematic agencies that can’t do the basics for our people on the ground.

In the State OHV park, there are sensitive plant and animal areas. No dozers, etc…

The fire’s needs getting met is the important thing. This is reported to be a Type 3 Team…not a T-2 or T-1. So feed everyone, keep the fuel and water flowing, and other appropriate safety, planning, command, supply and logistical support for several hundred people.
Not a big deal. Who cares if LACoFD puts a Team out there?
