First time creating an Initial Attack post, so please don’t troll me if I didn’t quite get it perfect.
Could the 15-10 (hopefully we’ll have a nice rename like Putah Creek Fire) and Gamble merge? Not much wind there or in these parts (Sonoma Co south). Was surprised to hear that the “fire near Putah Creek” (as it was called last night on radio) had grown so much. But, dry conditions prevail…
@sarahvain first IA looks good. In that area, you get winds off the lake at night. I’m sure that was a contributor to the fire growth last night.
Based on the map location there is definitely a chance that the fires will burn together. Just depends on if the normal diurnals surface today, which in that area is a north wind or if the outflow boundaries from the T-Cells continue today.
109 degrees today in the fire area:
If the fire is on the trail that would put it south of 128. That’s on the complete other side of the lake from the gamble. Topography will make it run south and into Solano County.
I think you maybe referring to this fire? https://forums.wildfireintel.org/t/ca-lnu-mark/13557/7
The 15-10 is north of Gamble
The Mark Fire is south of the lake.
15-10 is on the North side of the Lake near the Putah Creek bridge, partially in the 2018 County Fire footprint
Yep too many lnu incidents
Fire hasn’t quite made it to the county scar yet, the county was held on the east side rd. It does look like it might be in the 2004 rumsey scar but that’s more along Berryessa Knoxville, I don’t remember any fires in recent years between Putah creek and Berryessa Knoxville.
Evacs now in place for Berryessa Estates.
