I keep hearing the term “Double Eagle” Thrown around but not sure what it means?
Scattered subdivision West of the fire, some infrastructure visible on the Walker cam
Per Watchduty, Intel aircraft mapped the fire at 192 Acres
Double Eagle is a small subdivision

Ground Tac: VFIRE 22
20 type 1 crews 40 type 3 engines 10 type 1 engines 16 dozers 8 divisions 3 branches (I believe this is the total sum of resource request.

That’s a significant request. I would imagine the North Bay IMT 3 team will be activated. If it goes larger, than CF IMT Team 3 is up.
If it doesn’t impact infrastructure, let that crap burn. Or let’s put a team in it @ 2 Million a day. Then it we can justify putting it out.
That area has a lot of fire history. But it won’t matter much since when I was there new years, it looked like Mendocino complex barely happened.
I suspect that is the order for tomorrow day shift.
Air attack advised the fire will impact bear Valley rd. Not confident in the road holding
Truly one of the areas in California where we should let fires do their thing. If you want to live in a place like this, you should dig a Hobbit-hole.
(Though eating 3 months of smoke during the 2018 and 2020 Mendocino infernos truly sucked in Chico)…
Been there many times before. IA for CF Wilbur Springs. Column now visible from Vacaville. Probably on BLM lands.
Didn’t Specify, but could be a possibility
It sounded like he had said total order but got stepped on so it’s possible
