This morning’s OAK balloon launch shows increased precipitable water (PW) at 1.42", whereas avg PW for this time of year is ~0.72". PW values, which are indicative of how much moisture is in the air, will continue to increase as monsoon moisture flows in from the south. #CAwx

Was in the general area of carstens the fire behavior was crazy we were very lucky that first day with the intense fire behavior

took this just coming in by the store the burn over would have been on the other side of this ridge not to far as the crow fly’s
