IC requesting an additional 5 type 3 engines. Sounds like fire is down in the canyon. Air Attack stated they couldn’t get to it with tankers given its location in the bottom of the canyon. EDIT: Working it with tankers now at 1330 hrs.

Yeah, “normally.” Let’s hope something is normal this year! I’m hearing a lot of the coms between AA and the aircraft and no discussion of significant spotting. Let’s hope it stays that way.

Per AA, 15 to 20 acres holding within retardant lines, extreme spotting potential. Helos doing good work on left flank. Trying to knock the heat out of the middle of it… T102 wants to drop on right flank where he said it was eating through a bit.
