I gotta say that the IA resources who also worked through last night did an exceptional job under the Smokey stars. Waking up and seeing the the cams was impressive. The lack of smoke ready to break free of the inversion was not what I expected, even in the canyon. Taking care is business!

I echo Fireridge. Those assigned to and coordinating this fire, did a bang up job. Based on conditions, draw down of resources and competing for more, the odds were against them.
