It’s an island. Hard to justify more aircraft when structures are threatened elsewhere.
The towers on the ridge are an important communication site. Its justified.
With ranch buildings, critical comm infrastructure for sutter and yuba counties, fed govt, PGE, radio for nearly every ag outfit in the area etc…
How about we let those that do it do their job instead of the arm chair quarterbacking!

You are correct but no sense getting too tight on the rules when not much info is forthcoming. Got to keep the thread alive somehow.
Anyway it has always confused me why the Buttes are not SRA since they are not cultivated land and there is a good size portion that the state actually owns yet are not the official wildland fire provider for.
