Looking like a mass demob and movement of equipment north with this rain
Any word on when demob would begin?
Swift water rescues and mud slides first.
They pulled a lot of immediate need LG engines from the local area over the last 36 or so hours. Those are going to be the first out the door.
OES Prepositioned for Mud Debris Flow:
California Regional US&R Task Force 2 and 4 Los Angeles Area E (XLE and XLC) Assigned to RRU
California Regional US&R Task Force 12, Santa Barbara (XSB) Assigned to MVU
Cal OES Swiftwater-Flood Search & Rescue Team 3, Menlo Park (XSM) TBD
Cal OES Swiftwater-Flood Search & Rescue Team 4, Oakland (XAL) TBD
Cal OES Swiftwater-Flood Search & Rescue Team 5, Orange County (XOR) TBD
I hope they are getting more moisture than we are getting in Wrightwood. just a getting a gentle wettingâŚsounds and looks like the fire is getting enough to put this fire downâŚhopefullyâŚbe safe out there
thatâs kind of the hubub around camp.
Anybody have the tentative demob list?
@redmercury yes an IAP is not a Public Information sheet it is the operation plan. @StayAlert was looking for the demob list.
Donât read it then. most of us are or have been responders in some capacity.
alright, just curious whether it was ok to post something like that here
Its still public information, just not ment to mean anything to someone outside of the fire world.
Thanks, link to iap and demob list is there, no demob list in that link unless I missed it. Thanks for posting, maybe they will upload demob later when they know a little more of the commitment moving forward.
