New fire in RRU near La Cresta area. Units are still en-route but decent column building. Reported at Tenaja Rd and Via Volcano.

On the Cam it looks like an immediate structure threat.

That is my old battalion. Many nightmare thinking about fires in that area. Many long hard days and weeks fighting fires that brush and grass. The on shore winds will be pushing soon and cause a whole lot work.

AA asking for an ETA on the lead and inquiring about more Type 1’s helicopters. His type 1 request was filled with a type 2.
