CA-SNF-Basin(CONTAINED)

3 Copters have been unable to check the spot, now 20 acres requesting Fixed wing tankers. Div. A/Z break. Relief AT just arriving on scene. Getting briefed.

Ordering Fixed wing Tankers to attempt to box in the slop over. 5 Copters now working the slop over…

@14:10 update: tanker drops are being vaporized at coverage level 4. Copters are moving in, in the absence of Tankers overhead.

@14:40 update: Tankers are hooking the head and trying to run it across the ridge. 4 Tankers working.

AA and the ASM just confirmed 3 LATs and 4 S2’s

From the Air traffic it sounds as though they are getting a handle on checking the up slope progress.
They just won’t be able to drop lower towards the river bottom.

From what I could see from tollhouse road it’s got to be close to the dozer line, it was backing down the north part of the ridge and making a run along the ridge. the retardant is burned through now.

AA15 up over the fire has just placed an order for 2 Type 1 Tankers to the Lake IP.
Am I correct: 169.975 A/G Command and 170.075 A/G Tactical ?

Update: will be painting the ridge from a Dozer line T intersection (fire has bumped the dozer line) and along the ridge, eastward, down to Dinkey Creek.

Yes…as it has an “8” as the second number, that makes it OES.

AA15 and Lead K5 has been scouting out primary mission in Dinkey Creek and currently too smokey for fixed wing. Div. A/D.
Secondary further east is being scouted by Lead, no joy. Both smoked out. Lead landing on hold.
Copters continue to build retardant from last days Fixed Wing work with the Mobile Retardant Base (MRB) near by.
