Thanks! We were just up east of Courtright in late July for a backcountry trip. Such beautiful area. I appreciate your time.

The Plumas Complex is north of Lake Tahoe. You can see Tahoe at the north end of the animated heat signature map. The one I am looking at is south of Tahoe and NNW of Creek Fire.

He said North West, not South East! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Yes, Yosemite fires.
Blue Jay especially hot.

75 acre spot? I doubt they can drive it anywhere if it’s wind driven and crowning!

With no ground resources and the remote location this spot will eventually be part of the main fire.

Wonder if the strike teams getting released tomorrow from the SCU complex will head down that way.

Does anyone have information regarding cabins in the huckleberry track, along Huntington lake road and old tank lane?

County supervisor Nathan magsig has been doing daily live videos. They went through pine ridge to auberry yesterday they were at pine ridge and it was hard for me not to cry watching the video from pine ridge to mile high on auberry Rd and all I can say is I knew I would see that area burn in my lifetime. The last a fire came up through that half bowl was around 100 years ago and wiped out the logging camp.

This was meant as a reply to Jsdavis’ question about the Huntington area.

Yes the areas up here on Oregon flared up quick. I live around Albany and I’ve been watching them break out.
