Changing the layers of the nwcg maps fire to National Geographic helps to see the roads in the Southwest portions in Meadow Lakes areas. Firing will have to be done carefully to mitigate all the infastructures from road to road. I assume 168 will be the box on the south end. Winds will decide how firing goes.

New Evacuation order for North Fork. Everything East of Rd 274 along Rd 225. The old mill site that has been ICP for multiple incidents is just East of Rd 274, off of Rd 225, if that helps some of you place these Evacs
Also it is being reported that the fire has turned the corner around Huntington lake and is heading East towards Cedar Crest.
Fire has made it Tamarack Ridge on the North East corner of the fire, and contingency is stating fire has crossed their line, near Acorn road. I believe this to be just above Auberry road, on the South West corner.
Branch 25 saying that from the “Tamarack Lodge Sign” down 168 for about 2 miles, heavy fire on both sides of the road.
Units are doing point protection on structures around Huntington Lake as able.
I believe they are talking Tamarack ridge and Tamarack Creek on South East edge of fire.
“Pretty good Fire on both sides 168 from Tamarack lodge west a couple miles”
I believe I just heard affirmation that fire is still hot up near Cedar Crest,
“Still just doing point protection where they can until it calms down a bit”.
Made the folder sharable.

Tankers and helicopters are working hard from pine ridge school west to meadow lakes. it also looks fire activity is calming a little.
Was that Google drive a heat map or actual fire activity?
Heat map, I’ve seen it posted a few places.
Is anyone using either of these tools for the heat maps?
