do not stop at the calf border. things are happening above it also
Gotcha… there’s just too many to keep track!
Yeah I just was in the areas of Oregon that are going up right now.
The fire investigator in me is going… oh really!
Yeah last week and it was in the upper 90,s up there
75 acre spot? I doubt they can drive it anywhere if it’s wind driven and crowning!
With no ground resources and the remote location this spot will eventually be part of the main fire.
Wonder if the strike teams getting released tomorrow from the SCU complex will head down that way.
Nothing is impossible, he has the eyes in the sky and is calling what he sees
Is there a total acreage update?
Does anyone have information regarding cabins in the huckleberry track, along Huntington lake road and old tank lane?
County supervisor Nathan magsig has been doing daily live videos. They went through pine ridge to auberry yesterday they were at pine ridge and it was hard for me not to cry watching the video from pine ridge to mile high on auberry Rd and all I can say is I knew I would see that area burn in my lifetime. The last a fire came up through that half bowl was around 100 years ago and wiped out the logging camp.
This was meant as a reply to Jsdavis’ question about the Huntington area.
Yes the areas up here on Oregon flared up quick. I live around Albany and I’ve been watching them break out.
Wonder if the spot could be an escaped camp fire someone left when evacuating?
If you are referring to the spot near Courtright, I’d say no. That specific area is hot dry and heavily wooded. Not a typical spot to camp. Campers on those trails would stay near one of the lake above. More than like it’s something that fell in the area from the first 2 days and finally caught
I read yesterday of “embers” fist and arm size falling down in the Huntington area
Can you post the link to the north zone IAP?
The North Zone IAP is password protected and the South Zone is not.
