Balch Park to Three Rivers along South Fork
An Evacuation Warning means there is a potential threat to life and/or property. Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should leave now.
CASTLE FIRE UPDATE: New Mandatory Evacuation Orders (54 minutes ago)
The Castle Fire made a big push west in the middle of the night, prompting Sheriff Boudreaux to issue an additional MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER.
This new order is for the following area:
Highway 190 along the south, from the intersection at Balch Road north to Blue Ridge Lookout east to Moses Mountain, and south to Highway 190 at Mahogany Flat

Blue Ridge
Camp Nelson
Coy Flat
Mountain Aire
Pier Point
Alpine Village
Sequoia Crest
Redwood Drive

A Mandatory Evacuation Order means there is an immediate threat to life and/or property. Those who live in these areas must leave now.
Over the Command Channel it was just stated that a Cal Fire Type 1 Team will be taking over the Westside of the fire. No info on in brief day/time or which team.

NEW TEMPORARY EVACUATION POINT SET AT EXETER MEMORIAL BUILDING
VISALIA, CA - For those who are voluntarily evacuating Balch Park to Three Rivers along South Fork, the temporary evacuation point is at the Exeter Memorial Building, 324 N. Kaweah in Exeter. A Red Cross staff and Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency Public Health, Behavioral Health, and Human Services. At this time, staff will be present until 8:00 p.m. Anyone who needs a hotel should call 1-800-Red-Cross and register as displaced due to the SQF Complex.
Woodlake Fair/Rodeo grounds, located at 19400 Avenue 398, has been identified as the point of entry for large animals being evacuated. For smaller domestic animals, the Tulare County Animal Shelter is housing animals and staff are at the shelter at 14131 Ave. 256 in Visalia. For information about sheltering your small domestic animals, call Shelter Manager Cassandra Heffington at (559) 679-6222. The Woodlake location will be staffed until 8:00 p.m. tonight.
