Early this morning (8am) I heard AA requesting an air firing module AFM, I believe. Did not hear the report location for that. I heard the request for tankers to the Atas IP.
I know from videos from friends that they have been firing via helicopter the last few days in the brush.

Today will be warmer with less humidity and light wind in the afternoon. A cooling trend starts Saturday. There is no rain in the forecast. Increased fire behavior and a chance of spot fires are likely today. Structure defense protection efforts have been completed on all identified historic cabins.

I am catching AG Command traffic on a 4 copters working the fire. Requests from AA for tankers or scoopers to “slow down this fire”.

Check of the SWFRS cams shows many sites have old cam shots.
AA is up over the fire with coordination of long line supplies to Peppermint and Grey Meadow.
Interesting that the fire didn’t burn through the alder and peir fire scars but went between them.
