TKR911 inbound from McClellan
Pumpkin time for aircraft.
Tremendous Air Tanker show. It took a bit BUT the fire activity is now significantly reduced. KUDOâs to the pilots and the Air Attack too.
AA430 before he left
The hill everything looks really good around the horn on Branch five the Dozer and retarded lines are all the way to Highway 4 division foxtrot dozers backing up the retardant but couldnât get all the way to Hotel the dozers need to go direct to the creek definitely some heat in there and if it jumps the creek thereâs going to be problems fire is working its way down towards the creek you do have dozers at Charlie Fox trot break have dozers from the firing up also working that way holding really well at the head and the main highway highway 4 and then it bends into Branch five and holding in the road systems when you get to x-ray Tango the firing up on the North of Highway 4 worked really well if we can get resources to go direct with the retarded it will be successful looks like youâve got it surrounded by some resources if you could hold it for the night youâll be looking good for tomorrow ordered four tankers and five copters type 1 for Tomorrowâs Resources
There was a tree that dropped over the line and started a spot fire near Pyle I believe. Sending 4 more engines to that division to deal with it.
5239 acres per FIRIS. Been a couple of more firing ops.
Looking good.

Article stated three structurse lostâŚanyone know what type they were(out building, single family dwelling, etc)?
AA on scene saying everything looks good. Looks like line all away around the fire. Heaviest concentraction of smoke is on Div Hotel near Christian Gulch. Talking about putting some inderict retardent line on Div Hotel to back up dozer line. Sounds like thats another area they fired out.
Residential and possibly a commercial building as well. Heard them tone out last night for a commercial structure fire in the burn area.
5425 acres per The Cal Fire website
Listened all day and nothing to notable. A flare up near Surrey and Hodson. Fixed wing was released around noon in think. Copters were doing their thing. Had a trainee AA this morning. Interior smokes but several times AA said everything was looking really good. Shout out to the firing ops! Especially the one that saved Copper.
data package posted for the Aero -
IAP, OPS Map, AirOps Map, IR Topo Map, IR Overlay KMZ.
Added the IR Overlay and IR Topo map, looks like the data is in the wrong GACC - TCU is SOPS, so IRIN put it in south ops, but the ops maps and stuff are in NOPS.
Have to give a shout out to TCU and all inolved with this fire. We do have a fire history in this area. But we usually do not have a 30 plus wind pushing it. I listened to the first units on seen along with AA. They double then triple the resouce order within the 15 to 30 minutes. To make a long story short everyone from the Unit Cheif to the Firefighters did a hell of a job. Airforce, AA and releif AA were on it. Thatâs a rocky mess on that ridge east of copper. Dozers both agency and CWN oustanding job. To put a stop on that with the wind and topography and fuel type , it was a good stop. With minimal loses to improvements and structures. Old timmers(I am one now) are always harping on the new school of firefighters. Well. this group of new school just did a hell of a job! Big Thanks to all involved.
