Complete wind reversal today. Yesterday was out of the south west and today out of the North East. Mild so far at average of 6mph.
Humidity recovery pretty good in the 60âs.

The NWS has issued a Fire weather Watch for the area for tomorrow afternoon thru Sunday evening. Northwest winds 25-35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph possible. Critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.

AA discussions with relief AA were that the helibase needs to get boxed in, I believe they called it Red Hill to the north. Maybe a temporary built. I donât see it IDĂ©d on the IAP nor maps.
There was a trigger point for johnsondale threat to start up fixed wing drops today. Didnât catch the land mark or ridge which was too weak.
Not much visible on ground currently to do any fixed wing drops @ 13:30.
MapsâŠI donât see any black containment lines since inception of those products?? Bigger box with dozersâŠnot much of the XXXXâs seen on maps.
Inciweb 6849 with Zero containment.
11 Dozers & Crews assigned and few masticators, chippers and fallers for line building. Maybe Engine crews will be helping.

AA has ordered Lead Plane to evaluate retardant use. Donât know area they are planning for.

FIRIS Intel finished their flight. The entire upper part of the South Fork Tule/Crawford Creek/Windy Creek looks to have taken off today. Fire is now across the top of Slate along the ridge, and looks like it is all the way west to Packsaddle Meadow, just above Rogers Camp. Fire is now within 1.5 miles of Ponderosa and Johnsondale/R-Ranch. EDIT: My error in reading the IR dots. Boots on the ground as of 1900 said fire had not made it to Packsaddle yet.

12,370 acres, 0% containment. Major runs upslope back side of Slate/Nelson yesterday. Fire overran the smaller contained Crawford Fire and consumed the upper drainage of the South Fork Tule. Predicted weather includes a Red Flag Warning. Mountain communities and Redwood Groves continue to be threatened.
