CA-TNF-Mosquito??

T83 just showed up from Columbia and T103 is inbound from MCC. That makes 3, S2s, 1 LAT, 1 lead plane and a type 1 rotor.

If I’m counting right

Appears to be dropping on the ridge between Michigan Bluff and Mosquito Rd.

I don’t see a VLAT committed to this fire. Two (911 and 912) are working in SOPS, 914 might be on a day off, and 910 is at HLN. However T-164 from SBD and T-162 from TWF are enroute.

I think he was thinking 103 was a VLAT, instead of a LAT. Just a guess?

T-103 is a MD-87.

Yes MD87 is LAT

Corrected post. Thx.

AA was wondering about the availability of a 737 at MCC earlier.

FYI, a 737 is a LAT as well. The only VLATS are numbered in the 900 series.

Two VLATS just requested by AA.

South Ops and North Ops both having Vlat needs right now is playing into this

Gonna be hard pressed to get them. 912 is working the fire in BDF and 911 is working the fire in RRU. Will see if South OPS gives them up.

sounds like 912 got diverted to Fairview now too

T93 from Chico, and T82 from Columbia just showed up.

Doing the best they can, with what’s available

We’re going to need a lot more mud than that to slow this thing down…

Edit: Image with plane for scale:

Perris ECC just told AA that it was diverted back to Tahoe area for another fire I assume this one

Sounds like 912 was diverted from the Fairview Fire to this one. Unknown where 911 is.

Looks like tanker 160 heading that way, just flew over millerton lake.
