All single engine houses are going 4.0 staffing in some units and all 2 engine houses are going 4.0 in others. Either way more the FF1s the better.

Will you even have rehire rights if you accept a job? Typically from my understanding you have to have at least three months experience.
Once you accept a job you can’t change Units. Its 60 days for rehire, but only in that Unit. If you want to change Units you have to put in a new app in November for that new location.

Also if you do decide to work in another unit or transfer out next season ,you have to get a release from your station/unit first. Then you can accept other unit offers. This is new from CAL FIRE hiring 2019.
