Strike Teams?
Yup strike teams
OES sent an additional type 3 ST and at least 1 type 6 ST from OES Region 1 (LA)
Apparently didn’t check it enough.
320,495 Acres 70% contained.
Mapping mission underway.
Yesterdays big run was on the north side of the rio mora within the lines burning back into the main burn.
A couple images from last night’s IR. The big 6/13 run kept going toward the top of the crest, and there are some areas of intense heat showing in previously-burned high-country 3 and 5 miles of Angostura.
Was burning aggressively, hopefully the weather that has moved in will calm it down.
Fire, thunder, rain, then a flood advisory.
