OK. Got it. I found rain totals prior but not the same one on your link. That is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. Got 7" in Quincy. Sun’s out now…
Rain Wednesday night and Thursday???
NWS - SF Increasing northeast winds by Sunday morning that will allow temps to warm back into the 70s for some locations as offshore flow redevelops. Will at least need to pay some slight attention to fire weather concerns as fuels continue to dry out under this pattern.
Pretty green out there. We are getting a bunch of good underburning done right now in Butte County, but burned today in shady canyon above Chico and only pine litter or south slopes with jackpots of dead brush really did anything, and nothing would spread in the live oak litter, even in full sun.
We’ve been seeing better fire behavior in pure pine needles or black oak or maple litter. But grasslands are green green green, can’t barely get thick star thistle thatch to burn without wind.
And a bump here too
