Looks like it is moving into Crystal Lake and towards South Mt Hawkins which has all somewhat recovered from the 2002 Curve Fire.
EDIT/UPDATE: Yesterday the fire reportedly spotted across Hwy 39, but the attached IAP map link does not show any progression there. https://ftp.nifc.gov/public/incident_specific_data/calif_s/!2020_Incidents/CA-ANF-003687_Bobcat/GIS/Products/20200910/IAP_11x17_land_Bobcat_200910_CA-ANF_003687_.pdf

they have aircraft support in spite of not so clear air;
HT, Copts 16, 21 (LAC), and others
C130 flew over (wrightwood) 15 min ago, Jet just flew over, 914 has a ETA 1824 hrs
hope fixed wing has clean air
B19 lead should be on site along with AA52

pumpkin time…all aircraft off fire

Looks like it is burning good

yes…that is the south end…front country…fire is also bumping hwy 39 above Crystal Lake. They are staging engines along Hwy 2 in anticipation of when it is going to hit it tonight. hopefully they can hold both the 39 and 2…be safe

It had crossed 39 yesterday or day before. yesterday afternoon they pulled LAC type 1 ST out of Crystal Structure area and relocated them to Cedar Springs up on hwy 2 (NW corner of fire). take a look at this. it appears to have hit hwy 2 or very close:

Per AA: too smoked in for aircraft, returning to San Bernardino

the type 1 MD has been round robin over Wrightwood the past hour or so along with a MAFF…nnot sure it was a Maff…neighbor just said 4 engine prop. do not know where they are working…do not have air to air
LAC copter 17 inbound
yes it is a MAFF…just past over headed to Bob Cat

122.92 for Victor or 127.075 is what is in the IAP.
Getting ready to defend Trask Scout Camp. fire crossed a dozer line evidently.
EDIT/Update: Cpt 17 telling Div Alpha “there is a lot of work in here for aircraft, but we don’t have anything.” They asked for a HT out of Brackett. They want to slow it down because “they are expecting NNE winds tonight” which will push it down into Monrovia proper.
New: “fire slopped over the dozer line and well established on Clamshell Peak.” Well established in Santa Anita Canyon too.
