The access road onto Yucaipa ridge was opened up for the Apple, might make a good tie in for the East side, lots of standing and fallen dead bug kill on both sides of that ridge.

Rate of progress backing down into University Creek drainage above Mountain Home village causing concern, SB Co. Sheriff’s helicopter requested to assist via PA system to announce evacuations.
Only one way out, small road.

Problem with Yucaipa ridge was that it was washed out in places to the East. From Mill Creek station up it was opened and improved by BDF dozer 3 and crew.
Evac warning for Yucaipa north to Hwy 38.
