Relative humidity recovery tonight will be almost non existent. Without the tankers slowing spread and temps in the 80’s and 90’s much of the night could see some good fire behavior tonight.
Light downslope winds and RH 15% should also contribute to fire behavior.
Wind has shifted and is now pushing fire back to the west

San Bernardino National Forest reports
A portion of the San Gorgonio Wilderness is now closed. Hikers who are exiting the Vivian Creek, San Bernardino Peak and Momyer trailheads are advised to stop their trip and head back to retrieve their vehicles. Stay tuned for more possible closures in the wilderness.

Upbound Hwy 38 is closed at Bryant St. in Yucaipa, but areas near Big Bear are still open.

Significant spot fire on Carter road, immediate structure threat
With the change in command this am… anybody have updated comm plan? I’m hearing nothing on the regular SB scanner feed (listed above) but hearing A/G on AG-53 168.490 and misc chatter on FS BDF tac 172.225…? not on any online scanner?
