It’s almost jumped east fork of river and expected to get on case mountain. Hope it stays west bound.
Increased fire activity in the Kaweah River at drop point 30 Div. C and another slop over North Fork Dr. near H92 in Div. X/Z both requesting immediate need type 1 copter support. Helco will need to spool up.
This is the small window remaining each day for such activity. Helco request AA to launch.
Another request from Div. S. No exact location yet.
Firewatch 51 did fly IR mission around 1500 and was uploading to the ftp. I don’t see it at 1545.
CIIMT 2 inbound today. CIIMT 4 inbound Thursday/Friday. Sounds like a zone, however that could change as the week progresses.

Things changed. CIIMT4 became unavailable. CIIMT 1 is heading to KNP Complex to transition with the SW IMT who are timing out and will take on the South Zone of the fire.
AA15 and a Chinook are over the fire now.
Pretty hard to say “Fire Family” and not think of Dennis and the many years he has supported is ALL!
All north zone night resources getting rolled to day shift beginning tomorrow with the exception of a Charlie strike team and 1 shot crew. Starting to look real good up here
#KNPComplex Special Announcement:
Update on today’s accident in the vicinity of Atwell Grove. Earlier today, October 11, 2021, a hand crew member working in the Atwell Grove area was struck and injured by a rolling rock. The crew member was examined by medics on the incident and flown out to the hospital in Visalia for further care. The patient has made contact with their family members and is currently in stable condition.
CIIMT 12 will in-brief on Tuesday 10/19 and transition fire from Team 2.
Any civilians in silver city told to go shelter in place in mineral king. Good luck people.

Is this natural progression or a burn op? I left there last week & it appeared it was relatively wrapped up. With CA Fed IMT 1 jetting off to the LP after 2 days, I figured this was a done deal. I hope this isn’t Soberanes #2. Stay safe y’all & keep your heads up.
That area is still under an evacuation order and the fire crossed lines put in previous days yesterday, they had it caught but it looks like it has moved out of the atwell Grove with this run.
