Hard to say for sure this early, but peering through the early light in the cams she appears to still be awake. Could make for a long day. Hopefully the air power is up early to smash it.
AA asked for 4 multi-engine type 3 and a LAT early up 0800 over the fire before he flew home last night. In addition, he requested back all of the helos from yesterday and added a helco. So there should be a good air show, so long as they arenāt smoked out by the inversionā¦ā¦. Fingers crossed they can go to work this morning.
With all the air power today itāll get handled
Doubtful, aircraft wonāt be any good this morning with thick inversion high temps low RH if they did not hook it last night you are looking at a multi day fire for sure. This will be a type I fire if they canāt stop it before noon. Just my opinion
Agreed the inversion will be problematic at best. Iād say in an hour or two we will have a better idea of what the day holds.
Yea I disagree. Today will determine that. Hopeful tho
After 5 years in LNU, I completely stopped trying to guess.
Lots of microclimates and things that can happen.
Smartest assumption Iāve seen this morning
Well there were only 3 guesses this morning so thereās a 33% chance for being right. Although looking at the cameras this morning Iād say my assumption is pretty close to 35% accurate.
