CA-LPF-Mill (Contained)

Hearing Carrizo IHC talk about coming up from the bottom and not coming across Cone Peak because of all the heat up top. They are talking about spot fires on Div M which I assume are the ones on the map close to Cone Peak Rd.

Night Div M asking for Bucket Drops for his Div for Day Shift. Highest priority is locking in Southern Corner (right shoulder) with only one crew. Day IC. talked to Div M about possible tactics including locations to take lines over the top of the ridge on the north end.

Day Div M Ordering/Asking for more resources. 2 Dozers (contract local ok), Overhead Divisions, 8 Crews including 4 immediate need handcrews, 2 IHCs, 1 Federal CST of Engines. May have missed some of the traffic as it was scratchy but he is concerned that they will loose it today if they don’t get more boots on ground and I couldn’t agree more.
