Two packets of moisture/energy coming ashore. One crossing Santa Cruz/San Mateo coast the upper one crossing the Mendo coast.
Curious how much moisture is getting to the surface? The southern blob looks to be moving north towards Marin/Sonoma/Napa
Is that Pika bottom 1/3rd… or just Sierra build up?

Saw some strikes in the American Canyon Area about 30 ago.
Goat Mountain 2 is looking at a lightning strike fire right now in the MNF. Lightningmaps.org shows strikes having occurred in that area. The camera is still panning so doesn’t look like they see it yet.
Looks like a new start in LNU/ MEU, Logoda Area.

Another shortwave moves into the Bay Area tomorrow night for a chance of isolated dry lighting strikes again. Models struggle with these small features. The feature is currently producing convection off of the coast of Pt. Conception.
