Based on the 6 hour loop, the fire remained pretty active over night. The smoke column on radar is going over Woodfords.

Check out the Leek Springs and Sierra-at-Tahoe cameras. Good views looking east, towards the sun, of the column in this early hour. (0900)
Good column visible from eastbound 50, between Placerville and Pollock PInes. Also looks like moisture is moving in from the South.
Watching 6 hour replay of Hawkins Peak. Morning into afternoon showing several wind shifts seemingly back and forth with a northwest predominantly.
It looks like the column might be coming down.

Wow! Increíble!
From Matthew Henderson, currently driving through the area:
#TamarackFire Fire line is approx 5 miles from Hwy 88.
Burning slowly.
Agreed. Column Collapse.
Any precip reported over the fire? It looked like some moved through the area on Doppler.
