https://caltopo.com/p/7D32 GOES current heat and imagery showing smoke and relation to Dotta / Sugar Beckwourth Complex.
Smoke at Lake Almanor is looking pretty ominous. If this pushes with the West/NW winds up canyon could be there in a few days. Has favorable weather and with the return of instability, heat and monsoonal moisture this coming weekend/week could make it interesting (as if it needs any help).
Any resource orders?
Just heard that CALFIRE IMT1 is getting the activation call. Good luck all.
Confirmed CF team 1 launched…
Be careful. Garbo Gap/Feather River is some of the most unforgiving country…second only to the Klamath.
The Feather River trestle is even more vital since the northern route is still out.
Teams are activated automatically once 11 people here ask if a team is activated.

Another A/G was ordered up 166.600, unsure on assignment yet (A/G Cmd, A/G tactical, or a new A/G if this goes to fed incident.)
Well played

Which trestle is this? There appears to be one over rock creek and one further north over the Feather River itself. Both of which show up on heat signature
On the Bald Mtn cam, it looks like the left flank has spilled out to the west of Rock Creek drainage and is well-established in the heavy brush and timber outside of the 2008 burn.
So what does this mean? Did it cross contingency lines? Not super familiar
I only counted 10 questions about team activation. Maybe the standards are getting lower

What type of aircraft are you in?
Looks like a Volkswagen.
Maybe my eyes are deceiving me. Look how low the feather is!
