Spot across 50.
believe this was expected. During last night’s community briefing their stated objective was to keep it south of Wentworth Springs, which to me says they are expecting it to go up into the Crystal Basin and get established. Hope it doesn’t, but at this rate probably time to start moving resources

No. 564Fire is live streaming it right now. It hasn’t built that much yet.

What disinformation??? He’s broadcasting live on the spot that established across Hwy 50. Very helpful.

He has explained multiple times that the app picks the closest city. :man_facepalming:t3:

He did put “HWY 50 @ Kyburz “ in the description.

I shared it because it was an option to watch without any sign in.
Hopefully anyone here who watches via the Happs link realizes it’s Kyburz not South Lake Tahoe.

@adsbfish Todd is very good at what he does and covers tons of fires both wildland and structure down south and actually is quite helpful for knowing current conditions. The app he uses just picks a nearby location based on a service signal. He is retired fire service and well respected by alot of agencies down south for his coverage and knowledge. He will always let you know exactly where he is especially of the app puts the wrong information.

Anyone watching the stream just asks his location and he keeps repeating Kyburz.
I hear your concern. So far, nobody is panicking due to his streams.
If that happens I assume CalFire and other authorities may request he fix his streaming service.
